For many of our followers, running a Shopify Ecommerce Business resolves around dropshipping, AliExpress and Facebook Ads.
And many are looking for a quick cash grab.
Remember, you’re building and maintaining a long-term asset.
The method we’re about to reveal works well for new and established stores.
In fact it’s the easiest method we’ve ever used to make money with Shopify.
You can and should utilize this for the duration of your store’s existence.
The Easiest Shopify eCommerce Method
Create Email Subscriber Segments
Email segments place you subscribers on specific lists related to the content they were viewing when they opted in.
For instance, if you were giving away a free report, discount or certain type of product, you’ll place them on the corresponding list and send them related emails.
Getting as much information you can get about your audience during the sign-up process, maximizes the options you’ll have for demographic segmentation.
Demographics tell you exactly which type of content your subscriber prefers, ultimately increasing the likelihood of a conversion.
Be careful with this, though, because asking for too much information can scare people off from signing up at all.
All major email providers offer the ability to segment subscribers.
Here’s a list of the 7 Best Email Marketing Services for Small Business.
Find Products Related To Your Segments
This one’s self explanatory – find products related to each segment.
Since most of your email segments will likely be based on product category, segmenting by purchase history is a simple way to optimize targeting.
Send email recommendations for similar items or accessories that pair well with their previous purchase.
Send An Email To Segmented Customers
Copywriting emails for eCommerce websites don’t need to be complicated or overly fancy.
People know you’re going to be promoting something.
Keep the emails short and sweet.
There’s an art to crafting effective email copy.
Rinse & Repeat Weekly
You don’t want to over promote, but you do want to keep in touch.
Remaining consistent with your email marketing keeps the line of communication with existing customers open.
Your existing customers are more likely to purchase from you again, than anybody else.
Over time, the consistency of your emails build relationships with the people on your segmented lists.
It keeps your brand fresh in the minds of your existing consumers.
That’ll do it for Episode 15 – Great work!
