Installing whichever shiny new app captures their eye.
If you don’t need it, don’t use it.
The more apps you have, the slower your site will be.
There should be an immediate need for any app installed on your website.
Quite frankly, when you’re just starting with Shopify, you really don’t need any.

The Only 12 Shopify Apps You Need
If you’re just starting, meaning you haven’t earned a sale, you don’t need apps.
With the exception of ZeroUp, your Shopify Apps list shouldn’t look ours.
Once you’re generating revenue, it make sense to invest into the business.
After testing an absurd amount of Shopify Apps over the past several weeks, we’ve come to appreciate a particular handful more than others.
The apps I’m about to cover all serve a specific purpose.
Our store is generating money, pretty darn good money at that.

Abandonment Protector Plus
We want to prevent as many abandon carts as possible.
For whatever reason, your prospect gets all the way to the final checkout page, enters all their info, and then disappears.
This happens often, and not just to Shopify stores.

This app compresses image files to minimize server use while maximizing speed.
