Influencer marketing uses well-known people on the Internet to market your product or service.
These people have large followings and authority to their fans and followers.
Today we’ll build an Influencer Marketing campaign in front of you.
We’ll connect with an influencer, negotiate promotion details and create the ad!

Establishing brand credibility is paramount to any marketing campaign.
Implementing awareness strategies provide significant value to companies.
A strong brand connects with consumers on a personal level establishing trust and continuity.
One of the best ways achieve this is by leveraging the authority of influencers…
Promote Low Priced Products
At FSO we utilize a price point ranging from $7.95 to $19.95.
The lower the price the better when it comes to influencer marketing.
Higher priced products require more copy.
And we don’t have much room for copy within our ads.
Instead we’ll be taking advantage of impulse purchases, using minimal copy.
Use High Impact Images & Video For Ad Creatives
The image or video utilized for Influencer Marketing, should stop people in their tracks.
You’ll achieve this with unique products and eye popping images.
Remember, Influencers post these images on their Instagram accounts.
Your ad will literally be a customized picture and can be created with Canva.
Once you’re image is created, and influencer identified, write your copy.
Here’s the (converting) copy we created for the above panda necklace:
“🐼😍OMG! This Pretty Panda Necklace is just Wow!🔥by @commonpandacom 50% off deal today👉Get link in bio👈 #panda #pandabear #jewelry #pandalove #pandasrock”
Make your ad look like the influencer genuinely enjoys the product.
Don’t forget to use hashtags (#) as this is a free way to enhance exposure.
Automate Influencer Marketing With ShoutCart
You can purchase ad spots from influencers without ever speaking to them.
Thanks to ShoutCart, you can shop for shoutouts, without membership fees.
Once signed up, click “browse” and search for influencers.
Filter influencers by price, followers, niche, Demographic or authenticity score.
This service tells you if their followers and interactions are legit or not.
They also estimate how much you can expect to pay per 24 hour promotion.
Now that you’ve found an influencer you want to work with, setup your tracking.
Track Every Ad
URL shorteners and custom discount codes efficiently track clicks and conversions from Influencers.
But there’s another (more efficient) way to track Influencer stats.
Use UTM Parameter Builder for each ad/product and save them to Shopify.
Here’s how to do it:
- Go to https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder
- Enter the campaign and url information by following the prompts
- The campaign medium will be “BioLink”
- And the Campaign name should include the buy date, IG, and Influencer handle
- Copy the generated campaign URL under “Share generated campaign Url”
- Paste the URL into “BioLink” within your cart when completing your order.
The influencer will take the order information and post the ad to their profile.
Now, to view all your stats, return to your Shopify dashboard, click “analytics” and select “reports.”
The stats that appear under “Marketing” will be the stats from your Influencers.
