6-Step Shopify Sales Checklist
This checklist has not only been tested by our clients, but our very own stores.
Begin with step 1 and work your way through step 6.
By the time you finish this Shopify sales checklist, it’s very likely you begin seeing sales.
This checklist has 3 segments:
Using your well-designed store, you want the right products in front of the right audience at the right time.
Take a deep breath.
Let’s dive in…
Step 1. Ensure A Good Looking Store & Logo
Clean, simple and professional.
Never use more than 3 colors for your design / branding.
Use Shopify Booster Theme, and design your own logo using Canva.
If you can’t design a professional logo, just create a text logo instead.

Step 2. Publish & Edit Critical Pages
Certain pages inspire buyer confidence.
If your important policy pages are published, you have a much better chance or earning sales.
Here are the pages to ALWAYS include:
- Terms & Conditions
Many people will scroll to your footer immediately upon arriving to your store to ensure links to those pages are present.
Step 3. Fully Test Your Purchase Process
You’re running a business.
A business that depends on digital transactions.
You absolutely must test the purchase process of every product you sell.
Here’s what to look for:
- Make sure all website links are working
- Payment processor actually processes payments
- Cart & Purchase Buttons point to the right places
- Your Ads Link To The Product You’re Promoting
It’s surprising how many people don’t test the purchase process.
Step 4. Give A Product Page Evaluation
There are 3 product page parameters to focus on.
Here they are:
- Create A Unique Title (don’t copy the AliExpress titles)
- Benefits Focused Product Description (don’t just tell what it does)
- Use Professional Images (remove any AliExpress branding)
If you focus on these 3 things alone, it will impact your sales.
Step 5. Utilize Intriguing Ad Creatives
Don’t try and reinvent the wheel.
Utilize products and ad styles that are already working.
In fact, using a tool like Pexda will reveal winning products and the ads.
Discover the exact product selling, and the images, content and headlines selling them.
Step 6. Target The Correct Audiences
Our advertising strategy is very simple.
Test 2-3 products at a time with 203 ad sets each.
This only requires $5 per ad.
The products that convert during this time are scaled.
Any product ads that don’t convert are paused.
In order to maximize return on ad spend, target the correct audiences.
Each ad set needs to target different audiences.
You don’t want to compete with yourself.
And you need to know exactly which parameters are working.
